Departure from Reykjavik: :

Hekla Volcano: :

Our first stop is at Hekla, Iceland’s most active volcano, where we’ll appreciate this geological wonder.

Þjórsárdalur Valley: :

Visit the dramatic valley and grab some lunch at a local mini-market.

Hjálparfoss Waterfalls: :

Admire the serene pool formed by the cascading Hjálparfoss waterfalls.

Ljótipollur Crater: :

Witness the stunning cobalt blue lake inside this volcanic crater.

Frostastaðavatn Lake: :

Marvel at the beautiful turquoise waters of this wide and scenic lake.

Landmannalaugar: :

Spend 3 hours exploring this geothermal area nestled in a valley between colorful rhyolite mountains. Enjoy a 4.5 km hike (approximately 2 hours) and take a dip in the natural geothermal pool.

Sigölduleið Route: :

On our way back, we stop at the striking Hnausapollur volcanic crater and the beautiful Sigöldugljúfur canyon.

Dómadalur Route: :

Drive on the actual Mount Hekla volcano as we head back to Reykjavik, arriving around 7:30 pm.
