One of the most famous troll stories in South Iceland can be seen on the way from our
Katla Ice Cave adventure, actually! It's a tale about two trolls who were escaping the Danish King in their three mast sailboat. They did not make it to the cave at Reynisfjara before daylight came so they turned to stone.
